How To Clean Your Cymbals
Last updated on September 3, 2009 at 10:59 pmSome drummers say that dirt on your cymbals adds to the tonal quality, and sparingly clean their cymbals. If you prefer to have shiny cymbals that keep the same sound you fell in love with in the shop, invest in a good cymbal cleaner. Always follow the instructions, and take care not to rub too hard with your cloth, especially on the bits with the logo on.
You can clean your cymbals as regularly as you like, but a good routine to have is to clean them before (and after if they get anything on them) every show if they look dirty.
