Professional Drummer
Getting To Shows On Time
Last updated on September 6, 2009 at 1:29 amWhether your band has a van or you have a car, one thing is for certain for a touring drummer – you need to be able to transport your drum kit. While getting lost on the road can be fun sometimes, it is not professional to turn up late so you need a fool proof way of getting there on time, every time. A sat nav that either yourself or the whole band can use is an invaluable tool for getting to the show on time.
Here is a fool-proof list for getting to a show professionally:
- Check that you have all the necessary touring equipment, repair tools, and backup accessories before you leave
- Always allow extra time for traffic delays and service station stops
- Program your Sat Nav to the exact map location of the venue before you leave
- Take a map book or print off directions from the Google Maps website just in case the sat nav breaks
