Business Cards
Last updated on March 17, 2010 at 9:23 amIf you want to be a private music teacher, you will need some business cards to give to people in order to promote your services.
It is a good idea to employ a graphic artist to create one for you, which should ideally include some branding (logo, company font, colours). It’s not the end of the world if you don’t do this, and you can design your own with many of the printing companies.
The design should include details of the service you offer, your name (and company name if you have one), your mobile and home/business land line number, your email address, your website address. Perhaps on the back you could include a Next Lesson section including Date and Time lines for you to fill in at the end of each lesson. It costs more to get 2 sides printed but if you buy in bulk the costs are reduced. MidasPrint.com probably has the best prices for double sided cards, particularly when you buy 1000.
You should treat the cards as an investment, so don’t opt for ‘free’ cards you might see advertised. Spend a little more and get quality. Companies we recommend are MidasPrint.com, 123Print.co.uk, Solopress.com and GoodPrint.co.uk.
